One World One Future Trust (OWOFT) is committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and families in Kajiado County through its new project focusing on food security and quality education. In partnership with Shelter Children’s Home, we aim to provide students and local families with safe, nutritious food and improved access to quality education.
The project’s food security initiatives include expanding the vegetable garden by an additional 3 acres and implementing a drip irrigation system. This will significantly boost food production, create job opportunities, and generate income through surplus produce sales. Additionally, each of the families will receive a vertical garden starter kit and training to ensure sustainable food sources at home.
On the education front, we are dedicated to empowering teachers with advanced training programs to better address the needs of vulnerable children. The project also includes infrastructure expansion with the construction of a new classroom to support Shelter’s newly established junior secondary school.
Our vision is to foster a thriving, self-sufficient community where children and families have access to the resources they need to flourish.
